1. Why ATV Tuition?
A Tutor’s Voice (ATV) is built entirely around its students. We seek firstly understand how our students learn best as well as what study skills they are equipped with. We then prepare and deliver bespoke lessons which both provide the necessary course material and study skills but allow students to feel more in control of their learning.
2. Why was ATV Tuition Tutors set up?
ATV Tuition was set up to support learning using multiple elements – private tuition, online video tutorials and printed resources – in order to bridge the gaps in learning that often arise and help students excel.
3. What subjects does ATV Tuition offer?
Currently we offer the following subjects for all syllabuses:
Key Stage 3-GCSE
We aim to introduce GCSE English and 11+ Entrance exam preparation classes in late 2016/early 2017. Other subjects will be introduced in the future, subject to demand.
4. Who are ATV Tuition’s tutors?
Jennifer Okorie is founder and primary tutor of A Tutor’s Voice Professional Tuition Service. Being a graduate of Molecular Biology (BSc) and Clinical Neuroscience (MSc) and having provided Maths and Science tuition in various capacities over the last 10 years, she had a wealth of experience to offer, as well as plenty of enthusiasm that truly makes learning fun for her tutees.
5. How do we monitor the progress of each tuition programme?
Students are set homework to complete each week, based on what they have learnt during their lesson. Every 4-6 weeks they are given a test that comprises of exam-style questions based on the subject areas studied during their lessons across that period.
